The Gimbals.
The gimbals are the most important part of the SVS when it comes to movement of the sim. They have to be strong, light weight, hollow, and esthetically shaped. They house an EMDU at one side, and a pivot point with ball bearings on the other. The gimbal rings will be build of steal angle profile welded together. Creating a hollow, but strong structure. The reason to make the gimbal-rings hollow, is to be able to accommodate wiring.
